Howsham Mill is a beautiful building, water mill and renewable energy project situated between York and Malton on the banks of the River Derwent.
It is open to the public and allows parties of school children to visit and learn about the mill, electricity generation from water power, as well as the various flora and fauna on the surrounding nature trail.
The public are also able to take picnics there and even have a barbecue!
Our task was to produce and complete video, with aerial shots by drone and ground shots and interviews with our professional film camera.
The aim of the video is to let people know about the mill, show off its history, architecture and beautiful surroundings and what’s available on the site:
